I've removed all instances of the dmic_detect=0 and attached the dmesg for
both the 5.3.0-46 and 5.3.0-53 versions.

I did, however, manage to remove "snd_hda_intel.dmic_detect=0", from the
grub.conf (again removing this didn't help)

The kernel didn't work after that testing.
Could you indicate as to where the dmic_detect=0 line is?
Sorry I tried many "fixes" so not sure where I put that line.

the Kernel worked** but the sound didn't work, this time it didn't even say
"dummy audio" just was empty list for the "audio output tab" in settings

It's unfortunate but installing that kernel didn't fix the problem, I've
attached the dmesg output to this email.
I will also mention this may be part of a bigger bug, as I cannot change my
brightness either (assuming display driver issue here too, also t
