the display settings are lost. That even occurs when selecting already
selected mode (selecting "joint" while being in "joint" mode).

I have still the issue on 20.04. However, I had to add `options snd-hda-
intel dmic_detect=0` to `/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf` due to this
another issue: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-oem-

Hello,
I suffer from the same issue, I also have HP Zbook 15 G6 with Ubuntu 19.10. I
installed the latest kernel v5.5-rc3 through ukuu utility. Now, I do not have
any sound (nor mic, nor speakers).
