In that case, I will mark this bug report as Invalid because it may not be an actual bug but rather a support request. If anyone disagrees, the status can be set back to its other state. We've seen a couple of bug reports that look very similar and thus I was looking to find a pattern in them

This bug has been fixed in commit efbff6a3d9df076da17568c7b5c4787e8fdd3f1c in upstream (https://github.com/shadow-maint/shadow). The corresponding ChangeLog entry was in 2016-12-02 by Serge Hallyn . Updates from upstream will come soon and fix this bug. -- You received this
