Public bug reported: I find sometimes that if I plug in my monitor into my laptop (via an HDMI port, and and then HDMI to DVI connector) the monitor doesn't seem to be recognized by ubuntu and no image displays on it. I have gotten around this issue by having my laptop go to sleep and then pluggin
