The issue eventually occurred with the bleeding edge mesa, but it took a week. I've since reverted to the kinetic mesa and tried mainline 5.18 and 5.17 kernels, but the issue continues to appear with those kernels. For now I'm just running the jammy kernel, since that seems to work without static
