Sorry, I was being too fast. It only works if I initiate the connection
from the phone. When the handsfree device connects automatically, the
problem persists as described.

Public bug reported:
I would like to ask for SIP support on Ubuntu Touch.
I know this has been asked before in the context of bug #1247216, but
the heading there only refers to XMPP (which is just as important).
There has been a optimistic mailing list posting on this on October 2015:
Confirming this for OTA-11 on both e4.5 and m10 devices.

Does not detect hidden WiFi on first
First off, thanks for your help, Olivier. It's appreciated.
Indeed, the OSK comes up on the input field when I open the page
directly (my apologies, I thought I had thoroughly tested this, but
apparently I hadn't).
The problem occurs when opening the page in sequence. This is the main
page which
I am sorry, Olivier, I am afraid I do not really understand the
question.
The OSK does not open for this INPUT field:

communication a lot. After all, a phone is primarily a communication
device. XMPP (w/ jingle extension) is still very popular. For me it's a
reason to keep Nokia's N900 as a daily phone.

No idea whether this observation is related: For me it actually makes a
difference whether the connection to the handsfree device (Funkwerk Ego
Flash) is initiated by the phone (E 4.5) or the device itself.
When the handfree device connects to the phone, I experience the
symptoms of "no audio" on
With OTA-11 it's working for me now! Thanks a million for your help!

Title:
A2DP skips when conneted to handsfree
Just a quick note to confirm that the problem persists after updating to
OTA-4.
There were two postings on the mailing list that seem to allude to the
same problem:
https://lists.launchpad.net/ubuntu-phone/msg13352.html
https://lists.launchpad.net/ubuntu-phone/msg13362.html
Please help.
