reach lunar yet: first, I did a do-dist-upgrade from jammy to Kinetic
(prompt normal).

Xenial reached EOSS (End of Standard Support) so I'm afraid it can't be
fixed. It is unfortunate that we were unable to resolve this defect,
however, there appears to be no further action possible at this time
because it's not a security

we can put Ansible apart from this.
Anyway, we would need more information about the Kerberos configuration
you mentioned before as you noticed it is involved because we don't have
the complete picture to repro
