I setted sound using alsamixer on my Ubuntu Desktop but it works when i started
pc & set sound using alsamixer using terminal for few times . After shutdown pc
then i started pc then it doesn't work.
How to solve sound problem permanently ?

The only workaround that I have found till now is using a bluetooth
headset. It works perfectly well.

On 16.04 LTS release, the recent update of mesa (17.0.7) packages, broke
VA-API.

Yup, still present in 16.04.2 Xubuntu. Couldn't log in due to this.
Returns back to the login screen. After restarting lightdm.service from
another tty, I could log in.

I am connecting my monitor through the VGA port and I don't have a any
