When using the Ubuntu settings app to change displays I was enabling and
disabling displays to see if I could replicate a problem. It appears
that the drivers / setup are OK with 2x displays, but things start to
fall apart when there are 3x displays. 2x displys managed by NV

Update, I found that CUPS was failing to be modified by the gnome(?)
user interface component.
apparmor is getting in the way, "protecting" cupsd.
To fix this, install the apparmor utilities:
sudo apt-get install apparmor-utils
Then set apparmor to complain about cupsd, instead of blocking ac
If not already clear, I cannot print properly -- this setuo is somehow
preventing it.

Bluetooth pairing reports established using bluetoothctl, but the sound
device is not available on the Ubuntu device(?settings) manager.
Only the existing speakers (non buetooth) are showing as sound outputs
(sinks).

Yes, I just fixed a similar problem, old amdgpu drivers were earlier in
the LD_LIBRARY_PATH for newer versions of x utilities. This caused
quite a few problems getting X working properly.
best to find the directory whre there are amdgpu drivers, and use dpk -r
to remove ALL of them. I removed ab

GJS crashes - here's the crashdump. I saw the crash occur after a
screensaver had been running, and the screens had gone blank. I assume
this means they were turned off by the sleep timer. When I worke the
machine, I was presented with a prompt, I *quickly* entered my login
