FWIW, I installed Lubuntu 23.10 on my old HP TouchSmart 600. Because of
this audio problem, I've been using bluetooth speakers. Last week, I
plugged in some old computer speakers via the 3.5mm audio out. For a
short instance, sound actually came out of the internal speakers.

Update to libgnutls26-2.12.23-12ubuntu2.5 broke ldapsearch and Apache
Directory Studio for me in particular. Whatever the previous version
was worked fine. Now, when trying to connect via TLS or SSL to our ldap
server, I get the following with gnutls-cli:
# gnutls-cli --print-cert -p 636 192.168
A09 is the latest bios for my system. How are these stack traces related
to the BIOS?

Updated the BIOS, and ran into the soft lockup again.
