Title:
After login the login manager is shown again

Status in lightdm package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
After logging in the screen blanks (text is very shortly visible but
not readable to me) after which the login screen is shown again. X
doesn't seem to crash if I interpreted /var/log/Xorg.0.log correctly.

The solution was to rename .kde and logging in again.

/var/log/syslog shows Pulseaudio related warning but these seem
unrelated since uninstalling pulseaudio did not solve the problem.
