I'm also facing this issue with light-locker and Intel graphics on
openSUSE Tumbleweed. It does not occur on openSUSE Leap (4.1 kernel), so
it is a regression.

but looks like hack not a solution.
I have one more bug, but related with suspend + hdmi audio output.
Steps to reproduce
1. select "digital stereo (hdmi)" as output device in "Volume control"
configuration "
2. go to suspend
3. recover and no sound on hdmi stereo

Hopefully, xorg or xfce4 folks won't complain about a "duplicate report"
[(-:]. I did file a separate report referencing my laptop hardware
against xorg. Time will tell if it is xorg or xfce.
I am tempted to try to reproduce this anomaly with a completely
different 14.04.04 desktop (E.g. KDE) on

I also have trouble getting the kernel module for my Realtek Ethernet
(r8169) to function after resuming from suspend which I have noted in
another bug report (#1556676).
My Ethernet work-around (/etc/pm/sleep.d/pm-helper.sh, attached) does

I have the same problem on Asus X73B with Linux Mint 17.1, Did another
fresh install and the problem is still there. When having lock screen
with screen saver, cursor is visible, but when I resume without it - no
cursor. Also it happens only when closing lid, not when suspending
manually.

Forgot to mention, the problem apperas on mint 17.1 xfce. I wouldn't be
surprised to find it in 17.2 as well, because I encountered many
resilient bugs that are still there since 2011... and they all are
present in all ubuntu systems. It's very annoying.
