Public bug reported: I've been experiencing this problem since I updated my system on the 7th of august (I hadn't used it for a month at all), before this update it'd been working fine. When I try to connect to my google account it says that connection is refused, needed to give access. I type my password and say ok to allow data access for this application, but everything stays the same. I've just tried to remove every access point in my google account and start the whole connection process again. It asked for access to Ubuntu first time, than it seemed to work, but after reboot it fails again. I clicked give access, and then it asked for access to Evolution, and after this it still failed to connect. Second time I clicked give access only my account name and a password field shows up, and no matter how many times I type my password it fails all the time. My most favorite thing about this was the integration of my google calendar, but I also liked the google drive search results. I hope it'll be fixed soon.
I also have the Facebok connection set up and it seems to work without any problem. I looked for the reason of this issue in my google account, but I haven't found any data refusal or something like this in the account security system or in the connection log.
