Up until Ubuntu 14, the Xerox printer worked with Ubuntu. It works fine from Windows. The strange thing is that the Xerox printer manages to crash when I bring up the Printer requester even if I don't have the Xerox printer added to the list of printers. I've increased the memory on our Phaser 8560DN to 1 gig to solve the problem without luck: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups/+bug/405851 I tried contacting Xerox, but they no longer care if Linux works or not. If it works from Windows, it's not their problem.
