Public bug reported: At some point the toggle in the sound indicator for silent mode stop matching the real state of the phone. Mainly the indicator things the silent mode is on, while the settings app (and the phone) thinks is on.
At this point, if you try to turn silent mode on from the indicator is fails and the toggle always returns to off. The only way to reset this is to turn silent mode off from the settings app. This has been repodroduce by me and silbs. ** Affects: indicator-sound (Ubuntu) Importance: Critical Status: Confirmed ** Tags: rtm14 ** Changed in: indicator-sound (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed ** Changed in: indicator-sound (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Critical ** Tags added: rtm14 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to indicator-sound in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1391876 Title: silent control mode in indicators does not match settings app Status in “indicator-sound” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: At some point the toggle in the sound indicator for silent mode stop matching the real state of the phone.
