Thanks for the tip, I'm completely new at this. Funnily enough though,
my system crashes when I try to execute that command as a super user.

Riccardo, one should never manually upload a crash file. Instead, file it as a
new report via a terminal:
ubuntu-bug FILENAME.crash

I can verify that this bug happens to me as well. I've tried it on
various Ubuntu machines (all 14.04). Even when SSH'ing into another
machine with X forwarding, it crashes the computer with the display.

You can comment it, or remove "('start', e[0]),"

so, I have the same problem:
I have installed ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS on my lenovo yoga 2 pro 3 day ago (so, I am
really new to linux features)and all work great, except this one.
just for fun i tried to run this project on GNOME 3(on ubuntu GNOME and
fedora), but it still crashes xorg
