I was seeing that issue for a long time, even after upgrading my laptop
to xenial. It recently went away though (not sure how), so marking as
fixed.

I finally got my video drivers straightened out.. couldn't run with
nvidia-346 but after reinstalling nvidia-340 I'm able to run webbrowser-
app again.
In testing fullscreen, everything working fine for me. I cannot get a
WM crash entering/exiting fullscreen on either the site referenced above
or
I’ve tried to replicate the issue with a standalone example that does
something similar to what webbrowser-app does, but I can’t. Attaching
that example for reference.
