Could you please run the following command once from a terminal by ensuring you
have the package xdiagnose installed, and that you click the Yes button for
attaching additional debugging information:
apport-collect -p xor

Another issue I found on my recent install of U-MATE 16.04 PPC on my
Powermac 3,1 . . . had some "kernel certificate" errors on booting the
live DVD, which carried over to the install . . .
This data was repeated numerous times at the end of the running of the
"sudo apport-collect -p xorg 1541082" Don't know if it showed up
elsewhere, this is just one "paragraph."

Thanks for the reply . . . I can get you a camera shot, I'll have to get
back to that computer later today to do that . . . one display shared by
the PPC and a newer machine, and I'll post that photo.
