That certificate is not going to be added back. I suggest filing a bug with Eclipse so that they sign using a different CA, especially since that one expires in 2018. The package in trusty-security doesn't contain this certificate. I'm not sure why you believe it does. trusty-updates and

Ah, I see. There's no such CA in my current firefox, and it's mozilla where all certificates come from. So I guess this is rather Mozilla and Eclipse have different views to security, and there's nothing to do from package maintainer side. But what to do with that trusty-security package? Looks

Mostly I'm using Oomph eclipse installer. Running it with both oracle and open-jdk java gives me the confirmation dialog about untrusted certificate. All (most?) eclipse-provided artifacts are signed using their certificate that have that GTE CyberTrust Global Root as a CA. The same can be
