@Travis, extensions.gnome.org is a third party, and is indeed not related to ubuntu-meta, but the gnome-shell-extension-* packages from Artful archive are. First priority is to install from the archive, and possibly add extra extension from the url. Note that the path installation are not the same: url -> ./local/ , archive -> /usr/ ; so be sure to avoid conflict, and never upgrade an archive extension from the url.
That report fails on logic, so set it as invalid. ** Changed in: ubuntu-meta (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to ubuntu-meta in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1711768 Title: Gnome shell menu extensions won't install on 17.10 Status in ubuntu-meta package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: Description: Ubuntu Artful Aardvark (development branch) Release: 17.10 On a fresh install of 17.10 application menu extensions (Gno-Menu, Arc Menu etc) will not install from extensions.gnome.org "gir1.2-gmenu-3.0" and "libgnome-menu-3-0" should be included in the standard meta package for menu extensions to work.
