Public bug reported: when I paste filename into the location bar (Ctrl+L) the file chooser hangs.
The file happens to be in a folder with 300000 other files and GtkFileChooserDialog tries to offer a filename typing suggestion dropdown which is slow and eventually crashes. When I then kill chrome or firefox then wayland session gets logouted. Ubuntu version is 23.10 ** Affects: gtk+3.0 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to gtk+3.0 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2045907 Title: GtkFileChooserDialog hangs on large folder with 300000 files Status in gtk+3.0 package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: when I paste filename into the location bar (Ctrl+L) the file chooser hangs.
