WOW!! This bug was reported in 2009, and almost 10 years later we have no solution!! It's getting very difficult to find a cheap PCI sound card that works fine with Ubuntu or any other Linux distribution. Would a SoundBlaster Live work fine?? Talk about market reserve!!!
