Title:
[Realtek ALC269] Volume resets to 0% on front speakers after reboot

Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
After reboot, front speaker sound is at 0%. Drum sound is heard
during boot process but nothing after login. Headphones work.
Running alsamixer, front sound can be adjusted and everything works
after that until the next reboot. Appears to be similar to #449589,
453776 and 455357 but all report "fixed in Lucid" One suggested fix
was to edit /etc/init.d/alsa-utils Does no exist on this system.
