Title:
Acer Aspire One 722 doesn't resume from suspend

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Description:

Upon resume the Power LED will come on, however the screen does remain
  black.

  --------
  Background:

I had a similar issue with as on Ubuntu 11.04 & 11.10; the Aspire 722
wouldn't resume from suspension.
This time the fixes for 11.10 are not applicable, Jupiter 0.1.2 isn't helping.

I have tried both the Opensource drivers and the ATI/AMD proprietary FGLRX
graphics driver, same issue occurs.
ATI/AMD proprietary FGLRX graphics driver (post-release updates) for some
reason won't install on my machine, ( Asus Aspire One 722 - C62kk) and times
out on install.

I'm currently considering the options illustrated on the
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingKernelSuspend seems like a lot of
  hoops.

  Thanks for your help!
  Edward Lee
