Even when the carrier network and internet is available, the timezone
does not automatically change to the current timezone. I have to

I have two keyboard layouts: English and Aabic (Azerty).
I typed a text in the search box on Firefox then tried to select it with CTRL+A
shortcut. With Arabic layout activated this had caused Firefox to close. In the

Also tested RTM #44 with krillin, and I get a different result yet
again. This time the indicator just states "VoiceMail Messages" with no
count. This is using a single T-Mobile pre-paid SIM in slot #1.

As I'd mentioned before, there are numerous methods of indicating voice-
mail waiting message counts. It appears that some of these methods
work, and some don't.
It seems we have more investigation needed.

I suggest some simple glReadPixels is sufficient :)
Mir's current screen{shot,cast} infrastructure is a bit complicated and
designed on the assumption that rendering everything twice is faster
than rendering everything once with a glReadPixels in the loop. I think
that assumption may yet be proven

This seems to be a mix of issues, but the crash itself is caused because
android_camera_set_scene_mode gets called after control gets released.
In theory the correct result here would be an abort, but it seems assert
is not behaving properly, which I'm now investigating why.

I recommend to check the behaviour in reference phone with those SIM
cards. I would not be surprised if T-Mobile for example just does not
update the count. Also it would be interesting to know what was your

Yeah, even when hybris is actually working with a proper assert, that
still causes a crash with an abort. The real fix here is in qtubuntu-
camera, to make sure control is actually valid when using it.
This is a race when shutting down the app, and seems to be easier to
crash now that for some unk
