To toll-out hardware problems I moved the HDD to identical PC with older
bios a12 so far no Xorg crash, I will observer and keep this bug

I had this problem as well after the last update. After restarting the

Mesa needs libva promoted in order to build the gallium va-api driver.
all build-dependencies of libva are in main, but libva-dev depends on
libset-scalar-perl which isn't.

I also have trouble getting the kernel module for my Realtek Ethernet
(r8169) to function after resuming from suspend which I have noted in
another bug report (#1556676).
My Ethernet work-around (/etc/pm/sleep.d/pm-helper.sh, attached) does
the trick because the resume-recovery issue is in the

Any idea how to debug this more? It is a bit annoying to always shutdown
the PC physically by holding the power button for 5 seconds which causes
also often that the fast filesystem check on booting claims about orphan
inodes.
