To Anyone Using AnnouncerPlugin,

We have been hard at working cranking out code for the next release of
AnnouncerPlugin. I have checked in some pretty major, and probably
unstable changes to trunk today. If you are using trunk, I'd suggest
you layoff for a little while. Although when things are more polished
I'd love to get some feedback.

We have taken care to change the svn layout a little to help users.

First we tagged 0.11 as tags/0.11.0. This should be really old and
stable. This won't be worked on anymore.

0.11dev has been merged to 0.11. We will no longer be working on 0.11
branch except for if there is some major bug, or someone supplies a
simple patch that doesn't have much risk associated with it. 0.11dev
should be pretty stable and lots of people are using it. It hasn't had
anything but bug fixes for a while. We'll call this the 0.11.1 release.
I've tagged it as such.

Before checking in my unstable changes, I copied trunk to 0.11.2dev. This
will be our next release. Right now it is not backward compatible with
0.11, but it's pretty stable, and lots of people are using it. We'll be
working on getting it backward compatible with 0.11 and then we'll
announce an official release. There might be some issues upgrading
because project structure has changed a lot. If you are worried, ping
me on freenode#trac before doing the upgrade. I'll be happy to help.

I'll create some pypi packages for all this stuff as time permits.

I'd also like a second to thank all the contributors to this project.
It always amazes me at how many names are in the AUTHORS file! It's
really great.

Thanks,

The Announcer Team
