Hi all, I'm looking for the possibility to import data from other Trac environments, hosted on the same server. E.g.: User data (name, mailadress, ... ), workflow, versions, priorities, severties, maybe which plugins are enabled... The purpose is to easier setup newly created projects.
Is there an existing way/plugin? Or do I better write a plugin by myself? if I'd better write a plugin: Any suggestions where to start (not about generally writing plugins, that's clear - hopefully)? Basically, but that's mybe a second question, I'm interested in 'intertrac communication' e.g. a listing of all tickets assigned to me in 'all' existing projects. What's the best way to realize something like that? Would parsing the ../ dir of TracEnv (I'm not using TracParentEnv, I have an apache entry for each project) to find the projects + accessing the related dbs be a good idea?
