Now that Trac is closing the release on 0.11, it is time to look forward to
0.12. One of the major items of 0.12 is to start the localization effort.
Some of you might already have seen the sandbox/i18n branch where I have
been working together with some of you.

Please see the following URL for various translation tickets that I have
created:
http://trac.edgewall.org/query?status=assigned&status=new&status=reopened&component=i18n&order=priority&col=id&col=summary&col=status&col=type&col=priority&col=milestone&col=component

Chinese, Japanese, and Korean have quite active people who take care of
translations (but I am sure they welcome additional helpers).

Right now, if you can attach messages.po files (with an indicator against
which revision) or simply a diff it would be great. (Also add a small
comment to trigger the email notification to me.)

One of the things that's on my todo list is to create a translation plugin.
Think of an extension for Trac to coordinate translations like Pootle or
Launchpad's Rosetta does.

Due to a missing feature in Genshi (see Genshi ticket 129), there's some
issues with extracting blocks of text with variables in them. Right now they
will be cut up. Patches welcome. ;)

More documentation will be forthcoming.
