I can say, the problem come from the kernel in the amd64 version because it  
boots with the 32bits one on the same laptop.
And I don't think it's a burning problem because the 64bits version boots on  
my Sony vaio.
Some precisions: The inspiron has an amd turion 64x2 processor and the sony  
has an intel core 2 duo. If it can help.
