Yes, this is a good thing. At least Google isn't impolitely forcing Adobe SWF 10 on its users anymoreAnimation is still very choppy for me, though, especially in fullscreen. Hopefully in Trisquel 4.0 the deblobbed video driver will end that issue.

I was pleasantly surprised how well gnash works in YouTube. They only videos I couldn't access were the proprietary ones that included some kind of encryption. Since you can find most video that gets posted to the internet on YouTube this is a big breakthrough.
