Problem with Bitcoins is, it is rather difficult to turn them into other
online types of currency (or real money) and back. You'd pay fees comparable
to using other online types of currency, at least that was what I found when
I looked into making international transfers with them.
Didn't PeaZip already support RAR? I've been able to unpack all RAR files
since Ubuntu 6 (that was my first distro) with that tool.

I don't think there is a dependency on libfaac. Here is what I got when I
typed dpkg --info avidemux_2.5.2-0ubuntu3_amd64.deb (I downloaded the Debian
package from Ubuntu's website in the Lucid section as I'm using Trisquel
Taranis):
