proprietary software for Windows. This means that if an existing Windows user
tries out the Trisquel live CD to find free as in freedom software and finds
XChat he or she will assume that if there is a version for Windows

True. I was only pointing out that it is quite unfair to talk about ext*
when it comes to file system checks. In this regard, ext4 is much faster than
ext3.

I think you slightly misunderstood my resolution. I do want to use this OS
and it will probably be the one that's installed on my main development
machine when 5.0 comes out. I'm willing to swap out my wireless card and
embrace what Trisquel offers.
