According to his site (stallman.org) he has a twitter account. It doesn't
mention anything about identi.ca.
I remember reading somewhere which his official presences were but can't find
it atm. Was identi.ca one of them?
I think HP has a BIOS hack that will disallow any other mini PCIe cards. If
not you could look into putting a card that works out of the box without
firmware.
I have all the intention of doing it, but I'm really busy with my internship.

I was reading the dagda-development wiki page and I saw that grvrulz had got
it working under/ported it to Trisquel. Another point was "If someone writes
a package helper for that, we could add it back to the repository."
