Thank you for the suggestions! Yes, I can set up the antenna in my office, so
that would be fine - capturing from a stationary setup and viewing from
wherever. I found this article on Linux Journal:

I didn't notice the lack of a 'system' menu; usually use the hardware
button for shutdown and restart, and keyboard shortcuts for logout and
lock screen. Is replacing the system menu on the 'to-do' list for the
final release?
It doesn't look like they had much to say. I don't see a reason why someone
couldn't take the desura client and build a libre-only game repo. Tell me,
does desura track anything like in game achievements or anything like that?
Does it give any kind of a social aspect to the gaming experience
I did try that and it really didn't give any information.
I'm using 1.2.3
You should really stop writing that nothing works and start considering that
the error is between the keyboard and the chair.
According to the howto I pointed you, "there appears to be 4 main ways of
using the script in Windows":
Put the script in a folder and then double-click on the scri
Shell script? If you're getting multiple errors I suppose you don't actually
mean this, but "shell script" usually means Bourne Shell scripts (*.sh),
which don't work on Windows; only batch files (*.bat) will work there.
I created a shell script from Synaptic with what I want. It doesn't work on
my Windows computer with an Internet connection. I get a long list of Command
Prompt errors "[url] is not recognized as an operable program or batch file",
etcetera. APTonCD isn't useful because I no longer use CDs. A
...and also if somebody mention the existence of that page to Ruben. Thanks.
Hey,
I cleaned up and reopened the toutatis-development page yesterday (note, that
this is not the same page Ruben's using for reporting fixed issues) so if
somebody encounter an issue with the Toutatis builds or have an idea on how
to make this release better, just leave a message on the w
The issue within' Trisquel 5.5 was not quite about customizability (uhh, that
word..), but rather it was the system stability (Trisquel crashed again
today, while I was editing my toutatis-development wiki page), that moving
from Gnome2 to G3 broke the looks and other weird stuff happened whi
If this distro is to remain out-of-the-box accessible to people with
visual impairments, Mate and Cinnamon are not options. GNOME Shell and
Unity 2D are accessible, using Orca. Consort may become an option when
next Trisquel is ready but for 6, it's not quite there. Let's release

GNOME Fallback isn't causing any delays. The only change to the theme I've
noticed is changing from the Trisquel 5.5 background to the Trisquel 6
background.
I hate to state the obvious, but if you are still trying to have Trisquel
look like it did in the past, it may be best to stick with MATE for this
release and apply the themes from Trisquel 4 or 5. Gnome 3's fallback mode
doesn't come close to the look and features of Gnome 2. That is the sad
Thanks for the lightspark suggestion. Having installed as you
suggested, I no longer have issues with lack of audio when visiting
flashy sites. I find that lightspark automatically lowers volume. I
can adjust this, per-video, in the system settings for sound, on the
'applications' tab. Does
Yeah, but it would be nice if they would lift the "noncommercial"
restriction.
I don't see Mozilla doing this soon as they are expanding their brand beyond
standalone browsers with the phone operating system called Firefox OS.
They protect the Firefox name because they don't want users to get confused
if a modified version calls itself Firefox when it really isn't.
I am using a network tuner, the HD Homerun by Sillicon Dust. It's
unptractical for use in a mobile context - it needs extra power, external
antenna, and a local network to access it - but perhaps you'll consider
having a permanent setup somewhere and downloading transcoded

The problem is with your setup, probably due to setting something that
interferers with the options I proposed. On my system the fonts are
perfectly anti-aliased and crisp.
