You have the Synaptic package manager open or another apt-get running.
Good job! It's always a good idea to push improvements upstream, even if it's

Wonder what the situation is in Debian?
Yes, you can set up a proxy for pool mining which means you can probably just
use the tor service as a proxy for mining. It might be a bit slow but I
believe that would work.
After searching up a bit on using tor for mining bitcoins, it turns out you
can and there are even tor exclusive
I tried compiling but ran into errors when making the toolchain. The log is

Thanks for this amazing legal thread guys, but now back to the original
topic. The Free Software I tend to use with Bitcoin cryptocurrency is
Electrum (available throughout python-pip install method, not included in
upstream repos). Sadly no miner here.

It looks like it is under the GNU GPL license.
You would have to follow the directions on the download page and install it
manually if you want it:

We shouldn't recommend proprietary software, but not even allowing to mention
them is just crazy. It's a form of cencorship.

Hi aloniv!
I created a ath9k_htc linux driver a long time ago when the firmware source
code was first released to public as FLOSS (Free/Libre and Open Source
Software). Since then, the firmware was whitelisted in the Toutatis mainline
kernel, thus making this installer no longer necessary

Just for me to know what to expect if I take the effort and compile the
package:
With my intel core duo, 1,66 Ghz - how long will it take to mine 0,1 Bitcoin?
You have probably forgot to install some packages that are necessary for a
successful compilation. One of these packages on Toutatis was libc6-dev.
You can also download the source code using wget if you want:

I took some courses at the Art Institute for a bit and for every one of my

It's not so much the geometry of the exterior case that attraced me so much

Greetings, I'm a Slackware user who is interested in knowing some things
about Trisquel.
I know that the fsf is very proud about this OS and continously share out
copies of Trisquel in their campaigns:

I also saw

Payments going through here.
The only thing that's wrong about your description of Trisquel is that it
also comes with a Linux-libre kernel and a different OS typeface.
Other than freedom, I do not believe Trisquel has anything that Ubuntu does
not.
I think you're right in your observation; it's basically Ubuntu without
nonfree software. The main advantage of Trisquel, as far as free distros go,
is that it's very easy for beginners to use.
If you're a slackware user, maybe you should take a look at Dragora. I've
read that it's
That worked!
Thank you SO much for the explicit walkthroughs! I'm really not good with
the terminal, but you made this pretty easy on me. I really appreciate it!
I'll come back to this thread if I notice anything funny in the next couple
days, but right now it looks like it's working
I use a distro that I would be happy to recommend to other people.
My main checklist points for this are usability, .deb packaging and
stability.
Trisquel can be viewed as just Ubuntu with non-free removed, but it is so
much more than that.
