Hi,
I'm not that expert in linux audio, but I would recommend you to go through
Fedora musician's guide.

Thanks for the reply and the information. I wasn't aware of the USB HID
specification but if I understand what you've said (and what I've read
elsewhere) then any drivers required will most likely already be available in
the OS (Trisquel GNU/Linux in my case).
With regard to the external HD
Thanks for the suggestions and advice. Very informative.

GPG will only be doing stuff online when you tell it to, like searching a key
server for a key or sending a key to a keyserver. There isn't much more left
to do in GPG though, so, I expect you'll know if you're doing something that
requires a network connection. :)

Hi,
I read that using the tor network for mail can cause problems with your mail
provider. It is because you receive (and send) your mails periodically from
total different locations and as a result of this your provider may think
your account has been hacked.

A good news: when trisquel is installed, no boot options are needed.
It start without nomodeset.
Indeed, I have been trying to search for answers in the Tor Project website.

I need to know if I can use a program to:

The same goes for configuration of router, isn't it?
You do not need to precisely understand TCP/IP to administrate a network. The
chapter 10 of The Debian Administrator's Handbook starts with five paragraphs
giving the basic "features" of that protocol.
