Here is your problem. Mixing repositories can be problematic. Especially when you use repositories that are not for the version of the system you are using or of the system yours is based on (Ubuntu 12.04 if you use Trisquel 6.0, for instance).

Yes. In System Settings / Users and Groups you can create a new user account called e.g. guest. Then (still in the Users and Groups settings) you can Change... the Account type to Desktop user and also Change... the Password setting to Don't ask for password on login. That should do it,

How would that compare with GPG encryption? ccrypt apparently uses Rijndael cypher 256 bits. I wonder if that is as strong as GPG encryption. However it's a good option thanks :)

To answer my own question: gpg -r 'keyname' --encrypt-files *.* It will encrypt all the files in the specified folder with the public key you choose. If you have multiple files and wish to encrypt each one with a different key, just do: gpg --encrypt-files *.* you will be asked for each

Everything on the Trisquel repo is free. Add/Remove Apps doesn't do any filtering of this sort. The reason some things can't be seen in Add/Remove Apps is it only shows graphical applications.

Openshot. If you have your images named like this: namepicture1, namepicture2, namepicture3, etc, it will automatically ask if you want to create a video with those images. You can choose in the settings how long takes each picture and such. Very nice.

Home directory on /tmp that sounds more like it ;) On some previous releases there was a package called guest-session that did all the work, but it got merged on LightDM IIRC. Since trisquel won't install LightDM i think we won't have that feature available. Thanks for your ideas ;)
