We're half way to decent support for a number of regions. Right now we have
AC adapters that support the UK, Europe, Australia, Japan, and North America.
I should know shortly what keyboard layouts we'll carry for this model as
well although it's always hard to tell when they'll get here.
Glad to hear people will be listening in at least!
I haven't actually had a chance to look at the schedule although from what
I've heard it's suppose to be an interesting line up. At least if your into
the counter-surveillance / privacy / etc angle where it crosses with free
software.
Yea- your correct, but keep in mind the RTL8187B chipset is extremely old at
this point. It hasn't been readily available on the market in years. We're
[ThinkPenguin] probably the only place you can still readily find a USB
adapter with it. There is nothing wrong with the chipset. In fact
:) Or that is what is suppose to happen anyway...
Your computer's wifi switch isn't working right or is at least in the off

You need to follow the directions I linked to in order to see if you can get
it to work again. Otherwise you're in need of a system that works properly
This is something along the line we might be working on in the future. ie

Think additional legal protections from having mail stored locally as well as

Yeah, but awards with richard stallman sounds like he will be handing over
the awards and that's it.
Sparkelshare uses Mono, so it's a non-no.
Hi! I'm trying to get hardware acceleration working so I can run gnome shell.
The computer in question has a haswell i3-4130 processor with the HD4400

Sorry about the 'e', I honestly didn't notice.
That's fine if there are few developers. I don't recall anyone asking any
developer to be a part of this discussion. This is an open forum that anyone
can come and visit at any time so obviously they're welcome to participate at
Further to my second question...the error message given when I try to boot
from the netinstall disc is Machine check error. I expect it's related a
some bios setting, but quite which one I don't know.
So I install the apt-offine and it worked just fine, could you provide a link
to the linux-generic-lts-saucy .deb package? and the open-ath9k-htc-firmware
driver? The driver is on git, but when I follow the documentation, I get an
error when I build it and I have tried on multiple 64 bit

If I recall correctly it's a bit more than that, but yes, it's primarily
focused on the awards.
hmm machine check error I think might be the one related to the wifi card.
Quick search should reveal an answer for sure. I don't believe this specific
feature classifies as what would be refereed to as restricted boot.
Restricted boot is something that prevents you from easily booting other
Trisquel 6.01 has the firmware included out of the box. Might be easier to go
