Nice work Legimet!
If somebody has a little bit of time we should try to narrow down this issue
to one pref. The easiest way to do so would be to disable half of the
modifications to see which half the troublemaker is in. Then disable half of
those and so on. It shouldn't take forever altho

I did a 'pgpdump' of the .asc file and it says this is the key that
Yes, I had a trisquel package removed as well. Didn't seem to make any
difference that I could see.
I cannot get Trisquel 7 to suspend though. Or rather, it suspends but will
not resume - everything is frozen and I have to force a power cycle on the
box to recover it. The same machine suspe
Thank you Legimet. The solution fixed both of my problems
After a recent experience taking all night downloading one of the ISOs I
decided to make torrent files of all of the most recent ISOs in the devel
server. I figured that myself and perhaps a few kind volunteers could seed
them. I now have torrents of all of the 32 and 64 bit versions of each
Try commenting out lines from
/usr/lib/abrowser/browser/defaults/preferences/vendor-abrowser.js and see if
it works. That file contains custom Abrowser settings that aren't the default
in Firefox, many of which improve privacy. Unfortunately, some of those
changes break websites.
Another strang problem. I can't log in @ https://www.copy.com/ from Abrowser
Thank you for the answers!
I'm ready to try it as soon as I can find the pgp key used to sign the image.

I just did this; will see what happens on next login, when I do sudo
from the terminal. Looks like a Trisquel package also came out; what
have I broken? Hahah,

I've been playing with 7 for a while, on a netbook, and have finally
decided to install it onto my work-a-day Toshiba Satellite, after
testing on the other box and the arrival of my new Think Penguin USB
wifi radio for the Toshiba. My answers below.

Hi everyone. It's great to hear that Trisquel 7 is out!
From what I read, I'm ready to try it. I have a couple of questions:
1) Are the latest images the "7.0-20140721-i18n"?
http://devel.trisquel.info/makeiso/iso/
2) Where can I get the public key used to sign the package?
3) I'm about to ins
Once a misconception becomes common it continues ad nauseam despite the
valiant efforts of kind friends like yourself. I heard it in a podcast a few
years ago but didn't really research the matter. It just seemed logical
considering the symptoms.
Sorry for the nausea.
It uses neither. It uses python3-apt, which is an interface to libapt-pkg.
Doesn't the Trisquel updater use Aptitude instead of Apt? I've never looked
into what the Trisquel updater uses (probably what Ubuntu uses). If so, it
might explain why it is showing different packages than apt-get.
I've heard you should only use one of the two as they will become out-of-sync
One should also see, if the services are listening for outside connections or
only local ones. I use the ss -lt command for that. As I remember, Trisquel
7 doesn't listen for anything from outside by default. The output of ss
should look like this:
Local Address:Port
127.0.0.1:ipp

Aye, that solved it. Many thanks.

It works fine in GNU IceCat 31.0, with Noscript.
It's a known bug and you shouldn't be worried.

Greetings,
Been away, playing with other distros. Wallowing in proprietary filth like
the pig that I am.
Anyway, I swapped last year's PC, on which everything worked with Trisquel
for a different model, on which Trisquel 6 wouldn't work with the graphics
card (hence the sojourn into propr
I don't think it uses Google Services. If it isn't still working please let
me know your config (OS, Browser, Configuration etc..) and I'll try to see
what is happening :S
Hello GustavoCM,
Thank you for your support :)
I just edited that page to remove the commands for installing the older
(unsupported) stacks and advise to upgrade to the Trusty stack if you
installed one of those stacks. Also added a link to a bug with a workaround
for installing the stack if the command fails.
Oh, does the CAPTCHA use google services? I have the dirty big G in my hosts
file. Probably unlike most people. Still if that's the case, some other
arrangement could be better. If not, sorry for the wild goose chase.
As for the Contact form. It is weird that you have this problem. I've tried
it with Javascript enabled and disabled and it worked perfectly. Could you
try it again please?

Hello Lembas,
Thank you for your support :)
Yes I have to agree with you. The website is not perfect, I need to make it
from scratch but I don't have the time for now with so many projects (and my
full-time work).
I'll try to solve this as soon as possible, but I'll resolve the 404 problem

Hello Sachin,

I wrote a small patch to enable DDE support for opening multiple files with
one instance of Audacity. It falls back to UNIX domain sockets on platforms
that don't support DDE, so one does not need to run Windows to use this
feature.

Hello tkm625,
Good question. Well for now it isn't possible to change the CPU nor the GPU.
I have plans for the future to provide a version with a changeable CPU/GPU
but for now, because of the size of the LibreBox, it is quite difficult to
make it fit everything there.

Hello ADFENO,
Thank you for all your support ! I understand what you feel and I understand
how hard it is to try to make people change to Free Software, or even simply
considerate it as an option. But has "quil...@congresolibre.org" said it very
well, the problem is that we (Free Software e
This is odd, it does work in Firefox with No script running but A-browser is

I've just tried with trisquel mini 7, but the result is the same.
Seems it's not loading the website's CSS file, or image files. I don't know
why, though.
