project, than you should ask for help though the respective channels.

So you have 2 GPUs. One simple thing you could try is physically removing
that nvidia card.
Trisquel's default DE is based on GNOME Flashback, not GNOME Shell, so
extensions are irrelevant and that section is hidden.
