I would love to help.
Hi risci!
It was good to see you again too. And that applies to jxself as well.
:)
Even something as simple as your phone's power usage can be used to determine
your location: http://www.wired.com/2015/02/powerspy-phone-tracking/
I doubt that anyone still uses it, but Taranis has reached end of life:

jxself it was good to see you again.
It shouldn't. I mean, it didn't break anything on my lappy - anyway backup
first! Then go for it.
cheers!
The LibreCMC and OpenWRT sites don't do a great job explaining or emphasizing
the problems with flashing random routers like this. However they do have
disclaimers which I guess should indicate that its not for the faint of
heart.
In any event it's not so simple to flash a router as to get
safest way to communicate:)

What's there to be paranoid about? I don't know for sure, but it sounds to me
like a feature to enable a user to track what's going on in his own computer,
like maybe the NSA has some sort of requirement to make passwords centrally
known by someone. Might be a stupid design (or might not, sin
Hi Mampir, thanks for the suggestion :)
I just checked the meaning of all these, learned how to type the tilde on the
way.
I've typed each line one after the other with sudo each time.
The last line failed though (no such file or directory).
Yet obviously the directory exists, since the first
Hello everyone,
I am working with other people on a project called foire

A personal mail server seems tempting indeed.
One of the downsides (letting it on at all times) is actually a moot point
since it can run most of the year (with some hardware preventing temporary
power outage). A webmail can be a replacement when in vacation for example.

(I'm not implying that it's meaningless at all, btw.)
Mine has written "ver2.0.0" under the first bar code. But the main title has
no "V2" written on. I recieved it a few weeks ago.
OK, if that's what I got to do.
Will an older kernel break anything I have installed? I've never rolled back
a kernel.
Is this what I've got now (uname -a)

I don't know if there is some other workaround (I doubt it) ->
you will have to downgrade your kernel. I'm using jxself's 3.10.75 with
debian 8 and it works great!

I believe we chatted as well.
Nice seeing all the friendly faces!
I'm going to post some pictures on a new thread and video of Bob's LibreCMC

And no... I don't have a netwalker unfortunately :(
Oh, I'm sorry with all people here... I forget I was not in the Spanish
forum. What I wrote was:
Hello everybody here.
I share with you some printscreens of my Trisquel 6.0.1 with GNOME Shell
3.5.4. I have also KDE, but that will be a new post in some days.

I felt the same about my Thinkpad X61. I picked it up at a Good Will for less
than $30 "broken" and it was my goto computer for almost 5 years! There
wasn't anything wrong with it, it was just missing an operating system!
I noticed that a daemon called colord seems to be locked up and is taking up
most of my CPU load. This happened after I woke my computer up from sleep
mode. If it's relevant, I have my computer set to lock the screen awhen the
computer is locked.
If you're looking to buy one I definitely recommend this:

I personally have one in my desktop and it works beautifully out of the box

I like your taste, Docky complement Gnome shell very well; and I didn't know
about the existance of the Variety wallpaper switcher. Very nice
Hola a todas y a todos.
Comparto con ustedes algunas pantallas de mi Trisquel 6.0.1 con GNOME Shell

For the time being you may install some themes to make Plasma 4 look like
Plasma 5.
There is just one repository. It's divided in separate "distributions" (e.g.
belenos, belenos-updates, belenos-security and belenos-backports). And
mirrored around the world.
Glad to hear things seem to be working.
re A question - I guess my question was if there is just one approved
repository with trisquel. Looks like I go to
http://nl.archive.trisquel.info/trisquel in synaptic. If that's the way it is
then great, it's working almost everything I've wanted so far I have found.
I've been mostly a Fed
