I also posted it on Reddit for general knowledge:

Agreed! I'm really looking forward for that one. Also, thanks for using the
logo :)

I don't know what you mean "sideload" them, but yes, you can either access
internet with usb cable or download the files for offline instalation.
you can connect the the internet
through usb ethernet to your pc with free software:
http://redmine.replicant.us/projects/replicant/wiki/ReplicantUSBNetworking
or just copy the maps onto the phone from you pc with a usb cable
or as you say you could sideload them
i changed the icons:

"Allowing the download of previous versions would be nice too."
i can try and do this but as it would require figuring out alot(i don’t
rely know how to program in qt)
i think its best to try and finish my libreboot flashing
I created a live USB with FreeNetBootin and it seems to be working well,
apart from most files being still named unetbootin :P
Also, I think that Trisquel 32-bit and 64-bit should be in the same category.
Allowing the download of previous versions would be nice too.
Regarding the GTA04, it seems according to this
(http://redmine.replicant.us/projects/replicant/wiki/ReplicantStatus#Replicant-42),
it doesn't have access to Mobile Data or Wifi. Does that mean that in
order to install OSMAnd you would have to sideload it? And how would
OSMAnd work without being ab
We already covered the topic of a desktop environments and other software
depending on systemd, such as GNOME, which seems like the main argument of
this text? It would be much more useful if you add to the undergoing
discussion rather than start it all over again.

I'll be gratefull if you can give the source. Also one suggestion, when

just to make obvious that aren't your words but someone else's words.

I made a simple modification to their original logo, if you want you can use
it in the project. The original logo was released under CC-BY-SA 3.0, so I'm
also releasing this version under CC-BY-SA 3.0.

The following is not something I am saying, I am copy-pasting this from
somewhere else, I just this it's insightful.
What is systemd? It's an init system. An init system is the first process
started during the boot process, and it is then responsible for starting all
of the other processe
For sure! H-node lists a lot of hardware that is compatible with Trisquel,
you can use that as a reference guide :)
or you could use the openmok gta02 if you can find one!
but then again people may think its part of the gnu project..
i will call it for now FreeNetBootin
until a better name is thought up.
also i added libertybsd
so if people could test weather that works that would be great!

So, you can run Trisquel without it?
Wait, I am afraid that may not be an ideal choice.
We already have a Libreboot project for free (libre) BIOS/UEFI replacement.
This may confuse less experianced users.
How about
[1] GNUnetbootin ?
[2] GNUbootin ?
This will remove the confusion with the live project as well as spread the
I think one chance would be to use GTA04 running Replicant and F-Droid repos
for OSMAnd.

is a video showing support for it.
I think it would be nice setup. Also you got a music player on the pack :P
that is a good name!
i will change it.
I don't know, to be honest. But it's not compatible with Libreboot, sadly.
What motherboard to you use?
You see, Coreboot is a libre project. All of the code they write is under a
free license. Despite that, most of the boards supported by Coreboot still
require some proprietary, nonfree programs to boot the system. Libreboot is a
distro of Coreboot that removes all the proprietary code in Core

I'm ready to use.
pizzaiolo - i'm confused, "free version," is coreboot software?
Agreed!
Please note that Coreboot contains proprietary blobs. For a free version of
Coreboot, I recommend Libreboot:

You should call it LibreBootin.

Usually the keyservers synchronise so that your public key will be
replicated across all of the keyservers.
You can test it by choosing a keyserver that you didn't upload it to,
It will be a hard task because the manufacturers don't give you enough info.
They use the exact same name for different hardware internally...
If you wish your system to work guaranteedly, there are already assembled
