Have you tried HandBrake? It is in Trisquel's repository.
Apparently the DVD is "udf". Not sure if it is useful.
I don't know which format it is in. How can I see that?
The layout is of a regular DVD, with video_ts and the vob, ifo and bup files
inside. smplayer fails to play it, vlc plays but in wrong aspect ratio. I
tried copying the files to a pen drive and was able to play them in my home
I seriously think that activists could be at risk.
Perhaps it is just a matter of paperwork, then Intel hits the button to send
off some malware.
And the scary thing is no one can conclusively prove it has/hasn't happened.
We are living in the age of Orwell.
Well, not anyone... but if the attacker has enough power on Intel (states),
then, yes, it is a potential problem.
Intel ME gives anyone physical access.

Indeed. However, encryption only makes a difference in a scenario with

I will let you (generic "you") know if RTV works. I'm planning to try it in a
Debian 8 virtual machine (but I don't guarantee it). As a good practice, I
run small single-author programs like this in a virtual machine to protect
from security flaws and intentionally malicious code.
As for
The keyboard shortcut is windows-key+e for home folder. I am not able to edit

Could you edit the fstab file to set /boot/ to be on a different drive?

Simple internet search of "reddit javascript source":

No problemo/
Please let us know if it works for you, I'm interested as well. The other
annoying part for me is not being able to see the folded comments.
At a glance, RTV seems like a workable option but I have yet to download and
try to use it. Thanks hack and hack.
Nice one. I wonder if it's hard to do.
I suppose it depends on the pattern complexity.
I'd try by creating a small pattern, than cropping the image at random. in
theory it should work.
Maybe this (I didn't read the content yet):

Thanks lembas, that's a great option.
Thanks jxself, now I know how to do it, and why I should (or not).
The way I roughly consider my threat model is this: even if there's no threat
involved, if it's easy/takes little time to setup, it's better to have it
than not.
This could be a good
>AFAIK the JS is free, just not compliant with LibreJS.
I'm not sure. I checked the HTML source code and found no Copyright notice. I
did not check Reddit's source code. In any case, I know that it calls
Google's JavaScript which is almost surely non-free (I used to enable JS for
Reddit).
Tor in the repository is the Tor software. This lets applications connect
over the Tor network, if they are configured to do so.
The torbrowser-launcher script downloads Tor Browser Bundle (different from
Tor, of course), which is Firefox configured to connect over Tor so as to
best preserve

Hello.
My quesiton is the one in the title. When I use Reddit I use it without
enabling JavaScript and I have noticed that it works partially. I can browse
and register, but I can't post. Is there a way to post without using Reddit's
proprietary JavaScript?.
Thanks in advance.
Hi Trisquel community! I installed Tor through apt but every time I want to
run it nothing happens, and this appears when I run it from the terminal

ha! I do that for 50 euros, that is if you are not a friend and if you insist
on it after I explained you why GNU is better for you. If a friend wants me
to do that job I simply refuse.

For IM nothing can possibly beat **ricochet**. Ricochet FTW!!
I have an old laptop and the only thing that is quite slow is firefox. I have
very few plugins installed. The TorBB is much much smoother, so I was
wondering if someone here knows if the tor project debloats it. The only two
addons I added on FF more besides noscript and httpseveryw are
Unseen uses proprietary encryption.
I just checked that Sky Road thing and it reads fine in both fbreader and
okular.
For okular to eat .mobi I had to also install the kdegraphics-mobipocket
package.
One funny sounding variation I've heard about is you can have the /boot on a
thumb drive. I believe that way the computer won't boot without it. No idea
how to do it though or whether it's super safe or anything.
Just to add that effectively fbreader is in the repos, and that Okular (also
in the repos) also works fine with epub format (after install also
okular-extra-backends), !
A tile that I found here.
