I don't know which format it is in. How can I see that? The layout is of a regular DVD, with video_ts and the vob, ifo and bup files inside. smplayer fails to play it, vlc plays but in wrong aspect ratio. I tried copying the files to a pen drive and was able to play them in my home

I seriously think that activists could be at risk. Perhaps it is just a matter of paperwork, then Intel hits the button to send off some malware. And the scary thing is no one can conclusively prove it has/hasn't happened. We are living in the age of Orwell.

I just checked that Sky Road thing and it reads fine in both fbreader and okular. For okular to eat .mobi I had to also install the kdegraphics-mobipocket package.

One funny sounding variation I've heard about is you can have the /boot on a thumb drive. I believe that way the computer won't boot without it. No idea how to do it though or whether it's super safe or anything.
