there needs to be a justified business case *even before beginning* the 1 full-time year required to work on an 11in design. what is the business case - how many projected units would be purchased? who would purchase it? what reasons would they want to purchase it? how would it be marketed

please remember there is no such thing as "an EOMA68". EOMA68 is a hardware standard, not a physical object. you must be referring to the EOMA68-A20, which is a physical item, particularly when referencing MALI which is the GPU on the Allwinner A20. yes, if the funding had progressed

But if you were using Debian on the handheld computer a resistive touch screen would be better for clicking around all the desktop stuff.
