For an RPM-based distribution, your best bet is Fedora with Freed-ora kernel. Fedora gets updates every 6 months like Ubuntu does. This is the time for testing etc and I see no problem.

Although, I wish that there was a rpm based distro that was updated frequently like fedora is (only completely libre) due to the fact that fedora lacks things such as icedove or abrowser/iceweasel.

Not much would change if you made a libre version of fedora. So I wondered if such a thing exists at this time. RPM based distros tend to be more up to date for some reason then tar based distros. not sure why though... I might have preconceived ideas.
