Depends on where you live. Some of us are Europeans.
In Finland, SER is the way to dispose of and recycle electronic devices and

Are you still using Trisquel's packages, or you have taken your way
independently already?
Good tutorial, the sources from Part II are the same ones I was about to
publish here :-P
All flash memory becomes useless after a certain number of writes. If it was
a reasonably old SD card, that might have happened to it. You might just have
to recycle and replace it. (Note: always offer electronics up for recycling
rather than throwing them away. Best Buy will take them.)
yea, usb free wifi needed. thats only thing but for bios to my
knowledge. there some experimental risky thing for "disabling" intel ME.
gearbest do a flash sale now and then. best price was £340. I would get
an account add it to favourites and wait for promo emails ;)

That actually works on my Trisquel-based VM that I have in VirtualBox. The
blob uses Gladium and runs perfectly well.
Otherwise, Trisquel is blob-frinedly like Debian, with the difference that
Trisquel doesn't have in their repos nothing but DKMS for work on it and
nothing else.
I do have a question though, which is more secure, after doing the encryption
process, debian or parabola?
I am interested in parabola due to certain hardened application options such
as linux-libre-hardened... and such...
So I guess I am wondering, when you use debian installer to set up e
I've had it happen to me. A phone SD card suddenly went corrupt. There was no
way to initialize or reformat it let alone reveal the contents.
I am unsure about how libreboot effects this, but I have used the following
guide for with Parabola to encrypt lots of my computers. Assuming you know
how to install Arch/Parabola, of course.

for me is Parabola. Trisquel 7 is kind of old for me but I put it on laptops
that I will not be constantly using. I haven't tried Trisquel 8 yet. I also
use Slackware on a lot of other computers.
I have an sd card that suddenly went dead. A video camera and two different
computers (wit different OS) do not recognise it when it is inserted to the
otherwise functioning readers.
I have searched a bit but I only seem to find suggestions for cards that are

Once I installed Parabola in VirtualBox, but I consider trisquel community
better :)

Nothing beats the command line interface. There's no reason to shun it or be
afraid to use it.
Make up your mind what you want to achieve, find out the command line to do
it; rinse and repeat.
