Hi Anandawardhana,
I had exactly the same issue as you.
My advice would be to download Trisquel 7.0 from trisquel's official website
(https://trisquel.info/en/download) or through mirror website maintained by
FSF. (http://mirror.fsf.org/trisquel-images/)
You can also download Trisquel 8.0
Trisquel 6 is the best OS I have ever used. So, until today I had a computer
running T6 without upgrading (or connecting to the Internet for the past year
or so). I used it for writing and some of the other basic work I do. There
was no reason to upgrade because it works fine.
I now want

I typed into the terminal:

Is there an expected delivery date for those who pre-ordered? I understand
that R takes time. Just checking in.

Bingo!
The main problem apeears that FSF has just *too strict* rules. So strict

In my experience Icecat is barely faster than Tor Browser. I don't know that
everyone would accept it as a substitute for Firefox or Abrowser, at least not
until ESR moves to FF60 in May. I'm looking forward to Tor Browser becoming

The Trisquel 8 I am running now already have something called "redshift" in
the main menu under accessories. But unfortunately I get this message when
I'm trying to open the program:

Exactly because of it, mainly.

I've no idea but it would seem logical to me it would be much simpler to base
Triskamullo on Debian - the OS is already free and you'd just need to remove
the references to non-free from the documentation. How difficult is that? No
idea, again, but I imagine it would not take much
It's worse than I thought.
