Tutorial (the way I did) :
From the Trisquel 8 "Add/remove applications" software: search "redshift",
install it.
Edit the Redshift config file (from a console) :
pluma ~/.config/redshift.conf
Content (you will have to change "lat" at "lon" values to yours):
[redshift]
location-provider=m
Command line to do the edit (Trisquel 8) :
sudo pluma /usr/share/applications/rhythmbox.desktop
@mason thanks for all the info. Kinda sad that core2duo is as good as you
can get with libreboot, but I do agree EOMA68 looks promising (thought I
heard about some arm processors supporting it as well).
I think I will keep looking on ebay for a reasonably priced x220 or x230 to

If you really want OMEMO support, then you have to stick to Gajim.
If OMEMO is optional, then you'll have many more options, e.g. Pidgin and

I agree Jodiendo, we need more smurfs, but people will just use things like
facts and scientific data to say there is no such thing as smurfs...

Lightspark might work. But the best way to deal with Flash apps is to

Both X220 and X230 support up to 16 GiB RAM and are ideal for coreboot. The
main difference is that X230 has native USB 3.0 whereas X220 not.
Starting Haswell (4th generation Core), Intel implemented a treacherous
anti-feature called "Boot Guard". So it's impossible to change the firmware

Hey thanks for the response. Ive seen some x220 on ebay that include 16GB of

Hey everyone,
I don't know if it's possible or not, I downloaded a game from a website that
comes in a swf file. Trying to open it with VLC didn't gave me the expected
result... Is if possible to play these games in Trisquel 8? Using only free
software of course.
Thanks.
T'was indeed worth trying :)
