It's easy to miss... and easy to flip by accident. :) I've done it many
times.

Udisks/udisks2 are tools to query and manipulate storage devices in Unix like
operating systems.
udisksctl mount -b /dev/sdc1
Will mount /dev/sdc1 without the user specifying a mount point. I think it
will go under in 'run'.
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Udisks
It's the kernel reporting it detected that. Like many other processors on the
planet. It doesn't mean it's fixed or not fixed; only detected.
Should I worry about it?
No.
Can I do something about it?
Yes; read:

"Therefore, we will know that the issue is fixed in Trisquel when we see
something resembling"
I think you're right, and in the meantime concerned persons can just tell
their package manager to not follow redirects.
Oh my god. I have owned this laptop for 4 years. I have never once noticed
that switch there on the bottom. Not once ever. I am a huge idiot. Thank you.
I have the same error but Wifi works. As aloniv (among others) told you:
toggle your hardware switch.
The WiFi status light is off in this photo, so I think aloniv was right.
Check the hardware switch at the bottom-front-center of the laptop.
No ut was not working on the live system. This is all that command outputs.
Hi,
If I do cat /proc/cpuinfo
One of the lines I get is bugs : cpu_meltdown spectre_v1 spectre_v2
spec_store_bypass l1tf
What does that exactly mean?
Should I worry about it?
Can I do something about it?
Cheers!
I believe you are right. Version 1.2.29ubuntu0.1 was published on
2019-01-22: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apt/1.2.29ubuntu0.1
Taking a look at /var/log/apt/history.log and /var/log/apt/history.log.1.gz,
I see no update of the apt package since then.
